Just got it yesterday, and messed around with it this afternoon. The monitor looks great on paper but has a few problems with it. First uneven color. The left side of the monitor has a reddish tint. You can't see it during normal use, but if you have a lot of white on the screen it becomes very noticeable. Also it does not seem as sharp as my older dell LCD. Lastly, although its not really the monitors fault, apparently it is not compatible with some older video cards. For example any time I shut the monitor off, it will not turn back on unless it is unplugged or the computer is rebooted. Only happens with the DVI input though, works fine with VGA.
Anyway the color thing is really unacceptable, so back to dell it goes. UPS is stopping by sometime tomorrow to pick it up. Now I got to shop around and see if I can find a monitor without any problems.
What a disappointment.

Eh overpriced. I was looking at Samsung 53 series. They have gotten pretty good reviews. Super fast 2ms response time and good contrast ratio. A 20" is only $250 this week after rebates. Might just get two of them, a nice dual screen mount and be done with it. It would cost me the same that the 24" dell did and I have way more screen real estate...lol.
